Gender Map was a project that came out of the class Sex Education. The assignment was to create a map, of sorts, that explored how we individually view and experience gender. I executed it by exploring how I viewed the concept of gender while growing up. This included clothing that my mom would pick out for me when I was little, and how I viewed my outward appearance until I became older and felt more experimental with how I chose to represent myself. I explored the Google definition of "gender," and questioned if how we are taught about it has relevance in how we experience it.
