Scales of Justice Academy was a project that came out of the class Designing for Non-Profits. Scales of Justice is a free program for young high-school-aged women who hope to pursue a career in the legal field. The assignment was to develop a logo, poster, and webpage for this program and present this to Judge La Tia Martin, the chairperson and founder. I executed this project by designing a logo and design system that was professional but not intimidating to young people. It is easily navigated and understandable by both the student looking to be in the program, as well as parents looking for more information.
